The Ultimate Guide to Reiki Healing

Elsie Cummins · · Leave a Comment

What is reiki healing?

With this ultimate guide to reiki healing, I hope to give you an understanding of reiki’s history, and its benefits. Also to explain how reiki works and introduce you to reiki’s five principles.
Reiki is a Japanese word derived from “Rei”, meaning “Universal, and “Ki” meaning
“the vital life force”. These Japanese characters, when combined, present the
concept of “Universal Life Force Energy”. Reiki can be defined as the art of
activating, applying, and balancing the universal life force energy that dwells
within every living being, animal, or plant.

We carry this life energy in our bodies in pathways called meridians, in centers
called chakras. It also flows around us in a field of energy called the Aura.
Science has established its existence and with the aid of Kirlian photography we
can see this energy that encompasses all living things.

When the flow of your “Life Force Energy” is disrupted, weakened, or blocked,
emotional or health problems tend to occur. Imbalances can be caused by various
situations occurring in our lives, such as pain, injury, emotional or physical
trauma, destructive lifestyle, and loss. low self-worth, poor relationships.

Reiki is not taught to practitioners in the traditional sense. It is transferred from a
Reiki Master to a student during a Reiki session called an” attunement”. This
initiates you into Life Force Energy and is part of the process of reintroducing you
to Spirit so that you become able to practice Reiki on yourself and in time others.

How does reiki work?

Reiki works holistically, incorporating the body, mind, and spirit by stimulating
your own natural healing abilities. The blocked emotional and physical elements
that lead to illness are cleared. The Reiki practitioner uses their hands to channel
energy to you.

Reiki heals by guiding and balancing the flow of energy in the body.
It raises the vibration of your energy, shifting the blockage to clear, heal, and balance the natural flow of
energy. Healing physical, mental, emotional, and spiritual layers. The term
“healing” in this context means, the balancing of energy in the body so it may heal
itself.

How Reiki Can Help You & It’s Benefits

People with all forms of illnesses or injuries can benefit greatly from Reiki healing.
You can use Reiki on yourself, others, animals, plants inanimate objects, or life
situations. Absentee healing can also be sent to people, places, or situations
anywhere in the world.

Reiki is spiritually guided; it has a certain wisdom about it
and when that wisdom joins with the innate wisdom of the person it is trying to
help amazing results can take place. The Reiki Practitioner is just a gateway
between the source of Reiki and the person it is trying to help.

Reiki can do no harm; it brings only benefits to the person receiving Reiki and the
person Offering Reiki. Reiki invites you to come as you are, it’s for everyone with
no judgments, no exceptions.

History of Reiki Healing.

Reiki traces its roots back to what is now Tibet, originating around 3000BC.
Reiki was rediscovered in the 19th century by a Japanese scholar Dr. Mikao Usui,
the founder of the Usui System of Reiki which is practiced most widely today.
Dr. Usui adopted the five Reiki Principles from the Waka poetry of Japan’s
Emperor, Meiji (1818-1912) The Reiki Principles are seen as the art of inviting happiness, and a tool to heal all illnesses.

The ultimate guide to reiki healing through its five principles.

Reiki practice is based on five principles. These core concepts are like affirmations
or intentions. By focusing on the present moment, they offer guidance for
connecting with your Reiki energy to boost your sense of well-being.

Just for today, I will let go of worry.
Just for today, I will let go of anger.
Just for today, I will give thanks for my many blessings.
Just for today, I will do my work honestly.
Just for today, I will be kind to my neighbor and all living things
.

Manage Your Energy with Modern Energy Tapping

Elsie Cummins · · Leave a Comment

Introduction

When you’re feeling emotional pain, stress, or feel blocked in your life. It is your energy system that is blocked in this aspect of your life. You can often feel where this block is in your physical body. For example, the tension in your head, neck, or shoulders, that “gut feeling” you get in your stomach or a heavy feeling of pressure in your chest. Today we’ll discuss how you can manage your energy with modern energy tapping.

Energy EFT works by tapping on acupressure points on the body corresponding to meridians (energy pathways). This tapping action calms your nervous system and helps to release the blockage to increase your energy flow. As a result, your emotions are transformed.

The Modern Energy Chart

How the Modern Energy Chart Works

This chart helps you to become aware of your energy system and its emotional states. Effects are easily measured on the chart and its simplified version, the SUE scale. The SUE scale (Subjective Units of Experience) simply means how you’re feeling at any given time.

This Chart can help you to become aware of how you’re feeling and become curious. The benefits of using tapping to manage daily stress and anxiety: it’s non-invasive, fast and effective, and easy to learn.

There are different ways (protocols) to deal with past, present, and future aspects relating to stress and anxiety. Modern Energy Tapping works only with positive setups to get you from any now state to a plus ten as fast as possible ( no psychotherapy or going into the past).

We start with the phrase “what do I need to overcome this problem?”

If you’re feeling unmotivated, tap for inspiration. Or maybe you’re feeling overwhelmed or distressed. Tap for peace, love, and ease, you’ll know what you need.

The four-step Modern Energy EFT process (example)

The problem: “I can’t pay my bills”

The question: “What do I need to solve this problem?” “What do I need more of?”

The solution: “I need more clarity. I need more support. I need more opportunities”

Tap for: Clarity, support, and opportunity

You can use this process for any problem you have to help you identify what you need and what to tap for.

Now that you know what you need to tap for, you can start a round of tapping.

The Energy EFT Sequence

Put your hand over your heart. Take 3 deep breaths and together and state your phrase, e.g. “I need more energy”.

14 Tapping points:

  • top of the head
  • center of the forehead
  • the inner corner of an eyebrow
  • side of the eye
  • underneath the eye
  • under the nose
  • on the chin crease.
  • collar bone
  • inside of the thumb, index finger, middle finger, ring finger, small finger
  • karate chop point

After tapping, it is time to pay attention to the thoughts and ideas that surface. When you calm your mind and body you can more easily connect to your intuition.

The best way to start is by giving yourself the experience of tapping.
